maybe you've been looking in all the wrong places.
too much time has been spent in the past 12 months
asking the wrong person the wrong questions,
tossing absurd suggestions around,
expecting completely un-obvious answers.
i guess i'm real good at not knowing what's best for me,
because i thought what was best was you.
but if i don't know, then who should?
because to me it seems the best thing just seems to be the most understood.
but who really understands any of this these days?
